How Balatro's shop queue works
A Balatro seed does not roll shop items when you walk into the shop. Each Ante generates one long ordered queue up front, and every shop visit just takes the next two entries off it. That is why this tool replays a run instead of listing it: what you see in a slot depends on how many items you have already consumed in that Ante.
Why does rerolling change what I get later?
Reroll does not re-randomise the slot. It advances the queue pointer by two, so the items you skipped are gone and everything after shifts forward. Rerolling four times in Ante 2 means the Ante 2 shop you would otherwise have seen at the Boss Blind is now eight entries earlier in the list. The queue itself is fixed by the seed; only your position in it moves.
Why is there no shop after Ante 1 Small Blind?
Balatro opens the shop after every defeated Blind except the very first one. Ante 1 gives you the Small Blind, then goes straight to the Big Blind. So Ante 1 has two shop visits and every later Ante has three.
Are booster packs part of the same queue?
No. Packs are rolled separately and are tied to the shop visit they appear in, which is why stepping to the next Blind swaps both packs at once. Pack contents are fixed per seed, so a Soul card sitting in an Ante 2 Arcana Pack is there whether or not you rerolled the shop beside it.
Does this use the same RNG as the classic analyzer?
Yes — both read the same engine. The classic analyzer prints an Ante's whole queue at once; this one walks it in the order the game hands it to you, which is the view you want when planning rerolls or deciding whether to buy now or wait.
I have not unlocked every Joker — is this still accurate?
Mostly, and the part that differs is contained. This tool reads the fully unlocked pool. When your profile has a Joker locked, Balatro does not delete that entry and pull the rest of the queue forward: it marks the entry unavailable and redraws that one slot from a separate RNG stream. The item you cannot get is replaced in place, and every other item in that Ante — and every later Ante — stays exactly where this tool shows it. So read a slot holding a Joker you have not unlocked as unknown, and trust the rest. The same rule already applies to Jokers that need an in-run condition (Stone, Steel and Glass Joker, Golden Ticket, Lucky Cat, Cavendish, Planet X, Ceres, Eris), which is why they never appear here.
What run settings do these results assume?
A fresh run on Red Deck at White Stake with a fully unlocked profile. A different deck, a higher stake, or a locked profile changes which items can appear, so treat the readout as the baseline rather than a guarantee for your save.
