Hologram
This Joker gains 0.25 Mult every time a playing card is added to your deck (Currently Mult)
How Hologram scales
Hologram gains ×0.25 Mult permanently every time a playing card is added to your deck. "Added" means newly created cards: from Tarots, Spectrals, Standard packs purchased, Marble Joker spawns — any card that joins the deck after run start.
Hologram does NOT grow from cards already in your starting deck. It also doesn't grow from deck modifications that change existing cards (Strength rank-up, suit conversion). Only true additions count.
What feeds Hologram
The cheapest growth sources:
- Standard Packs (each buy adds 1-2 cards). 3-4 buys = +×0.75 to +×1 Hologram mult.
- Marble Joker: every Blind selection adds 1 Stone card to deck. 24 blinds in a full run = +×6 Hologram mult.
- Sigil / Ouija / Cryptid (Spectrals that reshape deck): some add cards, some don't. Cryptid adds 2 copies.
- Death tarot: copies, doesn't add. Does NOT feed Hologram.
- The Family / Hierophant / Empress / Wheel of Fortune: enhance existing cards, do not feed Hologram.
The most reliable Hologram source is Marble Joker. A full run with Marble adds ~24 cards, giving Hologram +×6 baseline.
Hologram + Marble Joker
The canonical pairing. Marble Joker creates a Stone card every Blind selection (Small / Big / Boss = 3 per ante). Across 8 antes that's 24 Stone cards added.
Hologram converts those 24 additions into +×6 mult. Combined with the 250-chip floor from each Stone card scored, Marble + Hologram is a self-sustaining floor build.
Hologram + Standard Pack rotation
Standard Packs offer 3 cards, you keep 1 (or 2 with Mega pack). Each kept card feeds Hologram. A build prioritizing Standard Packs over Tarot/Spectral Packs can sustain +1 to +1.5 Hologram mult per ante from packs alone.
Hologram + Blueprint / Brainstorm
Hologram's current X mult is multiplicative. Blueprint copying Hologram doubles current value:
- Hologram at ×3, Blueprint contributes another ×3 = ×9 effective from two slots.
- Hologram at ×10 (heavy Marble run), Blueprint = ×100 from two slots.
Brainstorm same. The growth happens on Hologram only — Blueprint and Brainstorm just multiply the value.
What kills Hologram
- Decks where you don't add cards: pure Flush builds that don't take Standard Packs or Marble. Hologram starves.
- Boss Blinds destroying jokers: Hologram lost mid-run loses all banked mult.
When to take, when to skip
Take Hologram:
- Antes 1-2 with Marble Joker in play or in shop.
- Builds that rotate through Standard Packs (Painted Deck Standard build).
- Cryptid use planned (every Cryptid use = +×0.25 × 2 = +×0.5).
Skip Hologram:
- Late acquisition with few rounds left to compound additions.
- Lean build with no card-add tools and no shop budget for Standard Packs.
- You're already at ×30 mult from other sources — Hologram needs early acquisition to be worth its slot.
